Here is a picture from the „Old“ year to the „New“ decade. Hawaii is the last time zone, so we are always going into the new year last.  Anyway, the North West Swell was pumping today at Ho’okipa, while the west side was a moderate 2-4feet and Ho’okipa I would call that on the picture 8-10feet. The conditions at Lanes were perfect, at least before the Konas (Wind) kicked in.

I was not able to surf because I was watching my daughter all day, my friend from Switzerland who just flew in from Zurich, had a sick one earlier on. I was getting lucky in evening at our local spot here ending the decade with some barrels.
