JUCKER HAWAII and Sonni Hönscheid at the Paddle for a Cure in Ka’anapali Beach
This weekend women got together on Maui to paddle for the fight against breast cancer. The fundraiser was held in Ka’anapali Beach and was supported by many local businesses. The paddle along Ka’anapali Beach was lead by accomplished femal paddlers such as Sonni Hönscheid who won this years Molokai2Oahu SUP Race, former winner of the M2O Talia Decoite-Gangini and Stand Up World Series Runner Up of the Year Fiona Wylde was there as well.
Roughly about 100 Women paddled in a fun and easy atmosphere along the beach to raise awareness of Breast Cancer Month October. After the paddle, the Hyatt Regency offered refreshments and a cultural program.
Sonni and I were very happy to have the opportunity to display one of our longboards with her artwork and donate it towards the silent auction.
